FROSIO & AMPP
We guarantee the highest quality standards in industrial coating and painting processes through the presence of two Level 3 FROSIO-certified inspectors and an AMPP Certified Coating Inspector on site.
Our team of specialists supervises the entire production cycle to ensure compliance with every technical specification and regulatory requirement set by the customer:
- Planning & Procedures: preparation and validation of coating procedures in accordance with the specifications provided by the customer.
- Surface Preparation: thorough inspection and verification of blasting and surface cleanliness prior to the application of the coating system.
- In-Process Inspections: continuous measurement of intermediate and final coating thicknesses, together with ongoing monitoring of environmental conditions during application.
- Testing & Inspection: execution of destructive and non-destructive testing to verify and document the performance and properties of the applied coating system.
- Final Certification: preparation, issuance and completion of all required coating inspection documentation and certificates.

ANSI-NACE No. 13
The ANSI-NACE No. 13 / SSPC-ACS-1 qualification, issued by AMPP, defines the competency standard for industrial protective coating applicators, including abrasive blasters and painters.
Unlike an inspector qualification, NACE No. 13 certifies the theoretical and practical competence of operational personnel in correctly carrying out surface preparation and coating application.
To ensure excellence in industrial corrosion protection and coating processes, we entrust the execution of our work to operators qualified in accordance with the ANSI-NACE No. 13 / SSPC-ACS-1 standard.
This international qualification demonstrates the high level of technical competence of our operational personnel throughout the key stages of the process:
- Surface Preparation: expertise in abrasive blasting, shot blasting and substrate cleaning techniques, combined with a thorough understanding of acceptance criteria and the ability to critically assess coating procedure requirements.
- Coating Application: technical expertise in applying even the most complex anti-corrosion coating systems, together with rigorous control of coating thickness and uniformity of the final finish.
- Compliance with Procedures & Specifications: every application is carried out in accordance with the most stringent technical specifications and requirements of the Oil & Gas, marine and infrastructure sectors.
